Sentimental Cloth – Cherished textiles rediscovered

Mixed media textile artist Diane Grubbe creates two and three dimensional heirlooms with your treasured fabrics, bobbles and trims.  Each piece is created after spending time walking down memory lane with you.

"Touching cherished cloth makes my fingers sing.  Listening to its stories makes my imagination leap.  Being given the chance to rediscover the beauty in damaged cloth makes me feel alive.  Successfully interpreting a story into a new family treasure makes me want to shout for joy.  Honouring the past by giving it a new future is completing the circle of life."
